Privacy policy
This policy explains how KRAFA LLC ("FuseProxy", "we"), 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, US, handles personal data when you visit fuseproxy.com, create an account or use our proxies. We are the controller of this data.
What we collect
| Data | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name and email address | When you create an account | To run your account, confirm your email and contact you about the service |
| Password | When you sign up with email | To sign you in. We store only a one-way hash, never the password itself |
| Google profile (name, email, profile picture) | When you sign in with Google | To create and sign in to your account |
| Session data: IP address, browser and device type | Each time you sign in | To keep you signed in and detect suspicious sign-ins |
| Orders and payment status | When you buy | To deliver what you paid for, keep accounting records and handle refunds |
| Identity verification results | When your purchases pass $500 in total, or if we ask you to verify | To prevent fraud and abuse |
| Proxy usage: data volume, number of requests, timestamps and errors | When you use the proxies | Billing, support, capacity planning and abuse handling |
| Messages you send us | When you contact support | To answer you |
Card details are entered on Stripe's payment page and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Identity checks are done by Stripe Identity: Stripe collects a photo of your identity document and a selfie, compares them, and keeps them under its own privacy policy. We receive only the result, whether the check passed and why it did not, never the images.
Proxy traffic content: we do not record the content of the requests and responses that pass through the proxies. FuseProxy and our network partners keep activity logs, such as connection times, volumes and destination host names, to detect misuse, investigate abuse reports and keep the network secure.
Legal bases
We process your data to perform our contract with you (running your account and delivering proxies), to meet legal obligations (accounting, tax, responding to lawful requests), and for our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure and preventing fraud and abuse. Where the law requires consent, for example for optional analytics cookies, we ask for it first.
Who processes your data for us
We share personal data only with providers that help us run FuseProxy, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Stripe: payments, invoices and, when used, identity verification.
- Google: sign-in, if you choose "Continue with Google".
- Vercel: hosting of the website and dashboard.
- PostHog: product analytics on the website and dashboard (pages viewed, clicks, and, with your consent, cookies and session recordings on the website).
- Neon: our database.
- Our proxy network partners: they carry your proxy traffic and record usage volumes. We identify your proxy account to them by an internal ID, not by your name or email.
- Email delivery provider: to send account and service emails.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
We may disclose data when the law requires it, including the activity history of an account in response to an official request from the authorities, or to protect people, our network or our partners from fraud and abuse.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data protection law requires it, transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
- Account data: while your account is open, then up to 12 months after closing it, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Orders and payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically up to 7 years.
- Proxy usage records: up to 12 months.
- Sign-in session records: until the session ends or expires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent you have given. Email support@fuseproxy.com from the address on your account. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
The website and dashboard use cookies and local storage needed to work: keeping you signed in, completing Google sign-in securely and remembering your light or dark theme. We do not use advertising cookies.
We also use PostHog analytics to understand which pages and features people use. A banner asks for your choice the first time you visit:
- Until you choose, or if you decline: analytics run without cookies or local storage. Each page view is counted anonymously and nothing is stored in your browser.
- If you accept: PostHog stores an ID in a cookie on fuseproxy.com, so it can connect your visits, including from the website to the dashboard. On the website (not the dashboard), it may also record your session, with everything you type masked.
Your choice is kept in a cookie called fp_consent for one year. To change it, clear that cookie and choose again.
Security
Passwords are hashed, connections use HTTPS, and access to customer data is limited to staff who need it. Admin actions such as refunds and suspensions are logged.
Children
FuseProxy is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell you by email about significant changes.
