Acceptable use policy
This policy applies to everyone who uses FuseProxy proxies, the dashboard or the API, and to anyone you let use them. It is part of the terms of service. If you are unsure whether a use is allowed, ask us at support@fuseproxy.com before you start.
What FuseProxy is for
FuseProxy provides proxies only for lawful, authorised purposes, for example:
- Collecting publicly available data, such as prices, product listings and search results.
- Ad verification and brand protection.
- Checking how websites, ads and apps appear in different countries.
- Testing your own websites, apps and infrastructure.
- Research and monitoring that respects the terms of the sites involved.
What is not allowed
You may not use FuseProxy, directly or through others, to:
- Break the law or anyone's rights, in your country, the destination's country or the United States.
- Commit fraud: payment or card fraud, chargeback fraud, identity theft, account takeover, phishing, impersonation, or creating accounts with false or stolen details.
- Get into systems without permission: hacking, credential stuffing, password guessing, exploiting vulnerabilities, scanning systems you are not authorised to test, or reaching content through unauthorised means.
- Get around security measures, such as logins, paywalls, access controls or copy protection.
- Disrupt services or networks: denial-of-service attacks, request floods, or traffic that overloads a target site or the FuseProxy network.
- Send spam or unsolicited messages by email, SMS, chat or social networks.
- Commit ad or click fraud: generating fake impressions, clicks, installs or conversions.
- Fake engagement or reviews: likes, followers, views, votes or reviews, or networks of fake profiles.
- Buy tickets or limited goods with bots, or make automated purchases that break a seller's rules.
- Collect personal data without authorisation, or any sensitive data that is not publicly available.
- Infringe intellectual property: piracy, counterfeit goods, or trademark and copyright violations.
- Distribute malware or harmful code, or run command-and-control infrastructure.
- Publish or transmit prohibited content: sexual or nude material, hate speech, threats, harassment, content promoting self-harm or violence, extremist material, or other people's personal information without consent. Child sexual abuse material is reported to the authorities.
- Resell or share access to FuseProxy, or your account and credentials, without our written permission.
- Evade sanctions, or provide services to people or places under United States sanctions.
You must also follow the terms and robots.txt of the sites you access, and keep request rates at a level that does not harm them.
Blocked destinations
To prevent fraud and abuse, some destinations are blocked for every account. The blocks cannot be lifted from the dashboard:
- Government websites.
- Banking and payment websites, including payment processors and money transfer services.
- Ticket sellers, such as Ticketmaster, Live Nation, StubHub and SeatGeek.
- Credit bureaus and identity verification services.
- Adult websites.
- Domains known to be harmful, and other sites on our network's block list.
- Ports used to send and read email, such as SMTP and IMAP.
Endpoints and ports lists the ports you can reach.
Countries where FuseProxy is not available
For regulatory reasons, FuseProxy is not available to users in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Belarus, or the occupied regions of Ukraine (Crimea and the occupied parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions). Using a VPN, proxy or false details to get around this restriction is a breach of this policy.
One account per person
Each person or company may have one FuseProxy account, unless we agree otherwise in writing. If we find duplicate or related accounts, for example ones sharing details, devices, IP addresses or payment methods, we review all of them. When one of them breaks this policy, we may suspend all of them and remove their remaining traffic.
Identity checks
Every customer whose purchases pass $500 in total verifies their identity with Stripe Identity before the next order. When the purpose of your use is unclear, or when we suspect a breach of this policy, we may also ask you to verify at any time and to describe your use case. If you do not complete the check, we suspend the account.
Monitoring and logs
FuseProxy and its network partners monitor usage patterns and keep activity logs to detect misuse and protect the network. We may restrict features, such as connection limits, for accounts that try to get around these safeguards, without notice. We report illegal activity to the competent authorities and provide the activity history of an account when we receive an official request.
Third-party platforms
Some websites and platforms forbid proxy traffic in their own terms. You use FuseProxy with them at your own risk, and we are not responsible if a third party blocks or restricts your account on their service.
How we enforce this policy
Depending on how serious a violation is, we may:
- Warn you and ask you to stop.
- Restrict traffic or block specific destinations for your account.
- Suspend your account. Suspension blocks your proxies within seconds and signs you out of the dashboard.
- Close your account permanently, without a refund and without access to any remaining traffic.
- Report the activity to law enforcement.
Reporting abuse
To report abuse coming from a FuseProxy IP address, email support@fuseproxy.com with:
- The IP addresses, exactly as they appear in your logs.
- The date and time, including the time zone. A window of a few minutes is enough.
- The URLs or endpoints that were accessed.
- Evidence, such as log excerpts, request headers or screenshots.
- The impact on you, such as downtime or exposed data.
We aim to acknowledge reports within one business day, check them against our logs to find the account involved, and act on confirmed violations.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service and the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change significantly limits what you can do, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
