Refund policy
This policy explains when we refund a purchase and how to ask. It is part of the terms of service. The same rules apply to every customer, so that we can keep prices low for everyone.
Payments are processed by Stripe, which is the merchant of record for your purchase. Your card statement shows LINK.COM* followed by our name, and your receipt comes from Link rather than from us. Stripe calculates any sales tax or VAT due in your country and adds it at checkout, so the total you pay can be higher than the prices listed on this site. Stripe also operates its own buyer protection and can refund a payment directly, which is explained under refunds issued by Stripe below.
Refunds at a glance
| Situation | Refund |
|---|---|
| Your first purchase of traffic, up to 5 GB, within 7 days, with at least 20% of its traffic unused | Yes, the amount paid minus payment processing fees, with any tax returned in full |
| Any later purchase | No |
| Traffic you have already used | No |
| Unused traffic when you close your account | No. Traffic never expires, so you can keep using it |
| Accounts suspended or closed for breaking the acceptable use policy | No |
| Purchases on duplicate accounts opened to reuse this policy | No |
| ISP proxies or a renewal we could not deliver | Yes, in full |
| ISP proxies or a renewal once delivered, including the unused part of the term | No |
Traffic never expires
Traffic you buy stays on your account until you use it. There is no monthly reset and no expiry date, so there is no need to refund traffic you have not used yet.
First-purchase refund
You can ask for a refund of your first purchase if all of these are true:
- It is the first purchase on your FuseProxy account.
- It was 5 GB or less.
- You ask within 7 days of paying.
- At least 20% of its traffic is still unused when we review the request. If less than 20% remains, we may decline the request.
We refund the amount you paid, minus the payment processing fees charged on the original payment, which we cannot recover. Any sales tax or VAT you were charged is returned to you in full. When we approve a refund, we remove that purchase's traffic from your account.
Refunds issued by Stripe
Because Stripe is the merchant of record, it runs its own buyer protection alongside this policy. Stripe can refund a payment within 60 days of the purchase, including in cases this policy would decline, and it does not need our agreement to do so. If Stripe asks us about a refund request and we do not reply within 48 hours, it may issue the refund anyway.
When Stripe refunds a purchase, we remove that purchase's traffic from your account, as we would for a refund we approved ourselves.
What we do not refund
- Purchases after your first one, including top-ups.
- Traffic that has been used.
- Unused traffic left when you close your account.
- Purchases on accounts suspended or closed for breaking the acceptable use policy.
- Purchases where the same person or company uses several accounts to claim more than one first-purchase refund. We treat this as fraud and decline the requests.
- Payment processing fees.
Dedicated ISP proxies
ISP proxies are dedicated static IPs leased for a fixed term of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. Each IP is reserved for you alone from the moment it is delivered, and cannot be returned to our supplier, so ISP proxies follow these rules instead of the first-purchase refund:
- If we cannot deliver the IPs you paid for, we refund the full amount, including payment processing fees.
- Once the IPs are delivered, the purchase is not refundable, including the unused part of the term.
- Renewals follow the same rules: a renewal we cannot apply is refunded in full, and a renewal that has been applied is not refundable.
- Nothing renews automatically. We email you a week before the term ends. If you do not renew, the IPs stop working when the term ends and cannot be recovered.
If an IP stops working during its term, contact us and we will work with our supplier to restore it.
How to ask for a refund
Email support@fuseproxy.com from the email address on your account, with the order number shown on your order page. We review the request against this policy and reply within two business days. Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
You can also manage your orders and ask for a refund through Link, using the receipt Stripe sent you.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. Your statement shows LINK.COM* followed by our name, which customers sometimes do not recognise; if a charge looks unfamiliar, email us and we will identify it for you.
Stripe handles card disputes on our behalf and decides whether to contest them. A chargeback suspends your account while it is open, because we cannot keep proxies running on a disputed payment.
